Arturo Silva (USA) teaches Film Theory and History at the Institute. He has written on such films as Stanley Kubrick’s 2001 A Space Odyssey, Vincente Minnelli’s The Band Wagon, Wim Wenders’ The American Friend, and Joseph H. Lewis’s Gun Crazy. He also edited 'The Donald Richie Reader: 50 Years of Writing on Japan'.
